It was the middle of the pandemic when I realized that I needed to get back to my truest love, creating music. I have been performing covers for so long that I had almost forgotten what had drawn me into music in the first place. Songwriting. Of course, the fact that there were zero gigs and I found myself with free time helped to spark that flame.
The technology of today afforded the ability to collaborate with others for recording projects and I found myself making some new music friends through the process of recording bass tracks for their original material and I've had others do the same for me. Working on other people's projects helped to awaken my own creative energy so I have been working on quite a bit of my own original material.
As we are now getting past the pandemic, gigs have been flooding in again, I still feel the call to put forth my own music or my interpretations of the music of others in my own unique way ("Bass, Beats, Vocals" and "From The Bass-ment" video series, available on this site).
This is what my website is all about, my own output and the collaboration with others in the spirit of creativity.
My mission is to put out a steady stream of audio, video, and written material and learn how to do that better with each production. Write. Record. Produce. Repeat.
Hopefully, some of you will like what you find here as the years roll on.
As it stands right now, I'm a working bassist and singer, primarily in the very exciting wedding/corporate Michael Kane Band and the schedule is quite busy for 2022.
I am fortunate to be doing what I'm doing with the great people I am doing it with.
